I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place and the owners! Robin & Vern are the very best hosts! We spent our daughter’s wedding weekend there and it was an excellent experience! Every aspect was top notch! The food, service & hospitality were over and beyond our expectations! Starkville is blessed to have this gorgeous place! My family and I look forward to many more visits!

Amazing Wedding Weekend

One June 6th, my wife and I were married in front of the pool house as a couple of friends and a few family members watched. Although we initially felt overwhelmed and disappointed that we weren’t able to have the 200+ person wedding we had been planning for nearly 2 years (due to the pandemic), we ended up having an absolutely perfect day at Robin and Vern’s bed and breakfast. The day of the wedding, we had a wonderful, unique brunch that was made fresh, and we had all of the necessities to help us relax and enjoy the day as we prepared to share our vows. We had plenty of room—the pool house for my wife and her family to get ready and the main house for me and my family. Additionally, we had tons of gorgeous photo ops around the property that our photographer loved using. We absolutely loved taking pictures in front of the stable and silo as well as the tree we named the Forest Gump Tree. Our ceremony and reception were set up perfectly by Robin and Vern, and we didn’t have to lift a finger. They were 100% accommodating and made arrangements for us exactly as we had discussed. It all turned out beautifully. That night, we ate an amazing meal that Robin created; our loved ones didn’t stop commenting on how delicious the food was. Robin even prepared wedding cupcakes that were off-the-charts good. We ended our unforgettable day with some dancing in the courtyard and a dip in the pool. The next day, we woke up to a freshly prepared brunch that was just as good as the amazing meals we were served the day before. I mean, what more could you ask for? This place has it all—plenty of space and beds, tons of amenities, great location, beautiful scenery, and a friendly and catering staff. All of the smallest details of our experience were tended to with dedication and care, and we couldn’t have had a more beautiful, special, fun, and enjoyable wedding and weekend. Thanks for everything, Robin and Vern!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bed and Breakfast.. The owners were so friendly and helpful to us, and the food was delicious. I would recommend if you are looking to get away for the weekend, this is fun place to stay!!
